Fight On!

Published 2021

After his famous father's death, Francis (Frank) Jeffery Dickens arrives in Canada in 1874 in search of his own path. With all the prejudices and presumptions of a white colonist/settler, Frank joins the North-West Mounted Police. Inspired by his actual life, this sprawling historical epic follows Frank Dickens over 11 years of service in the NWMP, as he crosses paths with many historical figures and Indigenous Peoples. Horrified by the mendacity and theft that robbed the Indigenous Peoples of their lands, Frank learns to respect the traditions and wisdom of First Nations culture and begins to understand the urgent need to live in harmony with Mother Nature.
